a transfer image pendant

So I've been playing with transfer images again, which is always a good
time, and finished off a bamboo tile pendant piece to show you today:
Collage images from  ARTchix Studio
It's very small, less than one inch across, with a double transfer of the
woman over a background (it's a glossy finish, thus the shine).  Please
tell me you think that background looks like cherry blossoms . . .

  2. Thank you, Leslie! It's a gel transfer--I used Omni Gel, but I think you can do a similar style transfer with gel medium.

Here's a link to a simple tutorial featuring the Omni Gel:

    1. Thank you, Joanna! I have to admit, though, I actually liked this one better before the copper tape around the sides . . . ah, well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. :P

  4. Looks like cherry blossoms to me Trisha! Though if it hadn't been an Asian woman it might have made a difference. Hard to say without being able to see it in both. Looks great and I love the 'loop' to hang it by. Well done! :)

    1. That's kind of what I thought, too, Pam--the pretty lady is kind of a clue . . . and the pink tint to the transfer helps a little, too!

  5. I think it's absolutely beautiful, Trisha - and I have to say I'm rather liking the copper finishing too... though on balance maybe without. Either way, it's a beautiful make! Off to check out the tutorial too...
